The framework was designed by IT and Telecoms procurement experts from higher education institutions. This two year agreement went live on the 29 September 2015. It consists of two lots:
- Lot 1 – Data Centre Equipment – This lot covers Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS), cooling equipment, generators, gas and fire suppression systems and Power Distribution Units (PDUs). Consultancy is also included in this lot.
- Lot 2 – Data Centre Infrastructure – covers server and network racks, cabinets, blanking panels, building management equipment. This lot also includes consultancy.
You receive the added benefit that awarded suppliers have been rigorously evaluated and assessed by NEUPC and its member-led tender working party. Suppliers also form part of an effective NEUPC- led supplier review process.
