InfraStruXure Manager Appliance is a browser-accessible, user-friendly
tool that makes management of your entire APC network-critical physical
infrastructure easy. It enables the quick assessment of your present
situation and notifies the appropriate personnel should situations
that threaten availability occur. Analysis features help you to plan
for changes in availability, power, runtime or cooling requirements.
Reduce the complexity of your network-critical physical infrastructure
by managing your APC devices from a single console or by integrating
InfraStruXure Manager into your preferred management system.
Battery Management
(Both base unit and expansion module available. Combined
charging/management harnesses are available in a variety of lengths:

APC's Battery Management System ensures your three-phase battery string
is optimally charged and ready for use. This browser-accessible, 1U
rackmountable appliance combines battery monitoring and testing with
individual boost charging for peak battery performance. Integration
into your preferred management system provides visibility of the health
and status of your battery system. Resolve battery problems before
they affect availability through continuous monitoring of individual
battery performance and faulty battery detection.
Environmental Management System
(A wide range of additional sensors
is also available.)  Network appliance enabling management of a wide range of access and
environmental conditions. Even better than physically being there.
The APC Environmental Management System is a browser-accessible 1U rackmountable
appliance that allows monitoring of a broad range of environmental
and related conditions. While monitoring of one temperature, one humidity
and one vibration sensor ship as standard, this flexible system allows
you to add sensors to suit your needs. Early warnings of conditions
that lead to equipment failure allow you to react to changes and minimize
the impact on network availability. When conditions change, notifications
are sent via email to the appropriate personnel. Eight input contacts
provide for monitoring of other equipment. 2 output relays and controllable
power outlets allow you to define actions remotely should conditions
warrant it.

Sensors
(Alarm beacon, motion, smoke, leak, temperature, and humidity sensors
available.) Environmental and access sensors for use with APC solutions. All sensors are compatible with APC's Environmental Management System.
Temperature and humidity sensors are compatible with the Environmental
Monitoring Unit and the UPS Environmental Monitoring Card.
UPS Network Management Cards
(Also available with environmental monitoring and out-of band capabilities.)  Embedded management of UPSs protecting servers and networking equipment. APC’s UPS Network Management Cards provide management of an
individual UPS by connecting the UPS directly to the network with
a dedicated IP address, avoiding the need for a proxy such as a server.
Embedded technology provides exceptional reliability and enables
the
UPS to reboot hung equipment. Manage each APC UPS individually via
web browser, Telnet, SNMP or via SSL and SSH. Notification features
inform you of problems as they occur. For protected servers, the
included PowerChute Network Shutdown software provides graceful, unattended
shutdown in the event of an extended power outage. PowerChute® Network Shutdown  Reliable network-based shutdown of multiple servers. APC's PowerChute Network Shutdown software works in conjunction with
the APC's UPS Network Management Card to provide graceful, unattended
shutdown of multiple computer systems over a network. Its scalable
architecture can support a virtually unlimited number of client systems.
Easily configurable via a browser-based interface, customize command
files can be run on each individual server in the event of an unattended
shutdown. For applications requiring dedicated serial connections,
an alternative approach is to use PowerChute® Business Edition.

Manage multiple servers with just one keyboard, monitor
and mouse.
APC’s 8- and 16-port RackMount KVM switches fit
on the desktop or mount in 1U of rack space. Daisy-chain compatible
units and manage up to 512 servers through one keyboard, monitor,
and mouse. The KVM Switches support multiple platforms (PS/2, USB,
or SUN), use slimmer cables for better cable management, are firmware
upgradeable, and allow servers to be connected and disconnected without
powering down the KVM. LEDs on the front of all units display which
channels are active. Use hotkeys or the on-screen display to switch
