An Uninterruptible Power System (UPS) for medium sized file servers and telecoms switches

The Riello Galatrek DIALOG PLUS Uninterruptible Power Supply series includes the 700-1000-1500-2000-3000-4000-5000VA models and uses double conversion technology (VFI).

The load is powered continuously by the inverter with an EMI filtered, stabilised and regulated sinewave supply. The input and output EMI filters considerably increase the immunity of the load to mains disturbances and surges, even on bypass.

The UPS can power the load for long periods (using battery extension packs) or provide sufficient runtime to allow shut-down of the protected computer systems using the PowerShield² software, supplied as standard, for Windows 95, 98, 2000, Me, XP, Mac OSx, 9.x, Linux NT 4.0 operating systems.

• battery optimisation: using the Power Share function - DLP70 and DLP100 - for automatic, software-programmable disconnection of non-critical loads, after 1 minute of battery back-up or on low battery alarm
• timer for scheduled shut-down and power up (software programmable)
• high reliability with built-in automatic battery test feature, full microprocessor control and automatic bypass for safe failure to mains.
